If you need to add, remove, or modify the residents listed in a committee, the steps will vary for committees without membership and committees with membership.
Committees without Membership
To modify a resident's membership in a committee without membership, you will need to edit their resident profile. From the administrative side of the website, select the correct microsite and then open the Resident Directory.
Search for the resident by name or resident number if known. Select the correct resident from the search results.
After opening the resident profile, select the Organizations tab. You will be presented with a list of committees and drop-downs for each committee.
- Check the box to the left of the committee name to add the resident part of that committee.
- Uncheck the box to remove the resident from the committee.
- Select the correct title from the drop-down to set that title to the committee member. Please follow the naming conventions used in the committee listings: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Member, Nominating Committee Liaison and Staff Liaison.
After making changes remember to click the Save button, the resident will appear (or disappear) from the committee member listing with the title granted.
Committees with Membership
For committees with membership, the process will involve editing the Microsite Org for that group. From the administrative side of the website, select the desired microsite as your current microsite and then open the Microsite Org module.
Each committee will be different, so you will need to determine the correct org to select from the drop-down.
After selecting the correct org, you will see a list of members. Manage the group by selecting the Delete or Edit link as needed.
If you need to add a member, click the appropriate letter for the member's last name and then scroll through the listing to find the member. Select the title from the drop-down and then click Add Resident.
More information on managing microsite orgs can be found in the Microsite Org section of the Help Center.
