- Can you please step me through the process of adding a PDF file (in this specific case “Meeting Minutes”) to the site’s Navigation Menu (“MINUTES AND AGENDAS”) under the current sub group?
Please watch the video below for this process:
- I noticed when editing my Club's current Navigation items there's a locked icon, what is that?
It is a set template that applies to all clubs by MembersFirst. We're unable to edit and/or delete any navigation items with this locked icon next to it
- I can't figure out how to delete the Inactive Navigation Items, what’s the secret?
To permanently delete those Navigation Items, the IT Department would need to send in a request to MembersFirst. You can request that here. You can also uncheck the "Show Inactive" box. This will hide the inactive Navigation Items and leave them available for you in the future if needed. Please note, once Navigation Items are deleted by MembersFirst, they are permanently deleted.
- How do I move Navigation Items?
While Editing your Microsites' Navigation, simply drag and drop where you want the items to go by clicking the 3 lines to the left and drag. Once complete, refresh your Main Microsite webpage and the Navigation items will appear in the order you've changed them to. Take a look at the demonstration below:
- I created a new Navigation Item pointing toward my NH's newly created File Library folder which has 1 PDF file in it. When I click on the new Navigation Item from the front of my NH's microsite, it downloads a copy of the PDF file to my PC instead of displaying it as I've seen on other Microsites. Why is this?
Because you only have one file in that File Library folder, it does not display a list. Instead, it changes to a file download. If you were to add another file, it would change that link to a list like you have it set in the navigation menu.
If you have any further questions on Navigation Items, please submit them to the IT Department Here!
