Highlights and Differences
This new editor (referred to as the Lite Editor) makes it easier to update content in Inserts, Library Documents, Calendar Events and Announcements.

Bottom Tool Bar Now Up Top!
Some of our most popular tools, previously located on the bottom of the Classic Editor, now display in the Lite Editor along the top, highlighted in grey boxes.


In order from left to right they are:
- Content Hyperlink
- Hyperlink
- Add Image
- Add Global Image
- Add Template
- Insert Video
- NEW! Font Awesome, web friendly icon toolkit
Viewing & Editing HTML Made Simpler
The option to view and edit HTML has now also relocated from the bottom of the Classic Editor to the top left corner of the Lite editor.


When in use, the button will be blue. You'll notice the new Lite Editor keeps the HTML much cleaner for easier editing!


Comparing Text Tools
The following buttons may have changed location, but remain as independent buttons with the same functions:
- Bold, Italics, Underline, and Strikethrough
- Indent & Outdent
- Subscript & Superscript
- Special Characters
- Insert Horizontal Line
- Text Color and Background Color
- Font Family, Size, and Style Formatting


Text Tool Changes & Added Enhancements in New Lite Editor
- Text Alignment, Ordered & Unordered List options now show in drop drown menus.
- New ordered & unordered lists offer more options in number and bullet point styles.

Using the Table Function in the new Lite Editor
Please Note: Tables are NOT mobile responsive due to their specific width and height constraints.
To insert a table in the Lite Editor, click on the table button and hover to select your desired table size. To make edits to the table, simply click inside a single cell to view your options.
In the pop-up, the top row includes setting for the table overall, from left to right:
- Insert Table Header
- Insert Table Footer
- Delete Entire Table
- Row: Insert Above, Insert Below, or Delete
- Column: Insert Left, Insert Right, or Delete
- Table Style Setting

The bottom row includes cell settings, from left to right:
- Split Cell Vertically, Horizontally, or Merge
- Cell Background Color
- Vertical Alignment
- Horizontal Alignment
- Cell Styles

You can also highlight multiple cells and apply settings to multiple cells at once.
