This is a frequently asked question for residents with Apple devices. You will notice this if you are receiving email from your club, neighborhood, or the Community Association and the sender appears to be someone else.
In the below example, the Community Association seems to be coming from the sender "Linda".
To correct this, search your contact list on your Apple device for the sender whose name appears in the email. In this case, we would search for Linda's contact.
Within the contact, you will see the email address suncity@mailer.memfirst.net tied to that contact. You will need to do two things:
- Delete/remove the email address from that contact.
- Create a new contact with the email address suncity@mailer.memfirst.net and name the contact "Sun City Texas", "Sun City email", etc.
All email sent by Sun City Texas, whether from a club or the community association itself, comes from that same address. By creating a new contact with that email address, you will prevent that email address from appearing on your device as the wrong sender.
