Not Receiving Email from the Community Association or Groups

For residents who are not finding messages in their inbox from the Community Association, their neighborhood, or their clubs, there are three reasons that those messages might not be found.

Messages Categorized Incorrectly

The problem in the overwhelming majority of reported cases is that the resident's email program or service is sending the messages to a spam or junk folder or moving the message to a category outside of the inbox.

If the email system shows that a message was sent to the resident without error, then it is the responsibility of the resident to ensure that messages are not blocked or are marked safe. Steps for doing this will vary depending on the email service provider and the software being used to access email. Refer to the following articles from popular email service providers for further guidance or contact the service provider directly for support.

The Email Address on Record is not Correct

Residents can log into the Sun City Texas website and check the email address listed in their account profile. Follow the steps in this article: Edit your website profile. Residents can also contact the Member Services Department to correct that information by calling [phone].

Residents are Not Opted into Messages

Residents have the ability to opt in or out of specific messages. If a resident is receiving some email messages but not others, check email preferences to ensure that the correct selections have been made. Follow the steps in this article for more information: Changing Email Preferences.
