How to create Classic Templates:
Local templates can be created and used multiple times as a custom footer, email body, frame, header, or footer. It's also viewable and editable between admins for the same Microsite while crafting an email.
If you visit Template Maintenance now, it'll look slightly different than it used to. No need to worry, it still works the same!
- Click on Template Maintenance
- Select Classic Templates, then New at the top of the page.
- Name your new Template and click Create Now.
- You'll be directed to the creation page of your template. Here you can enter any text, images, hyperlinks, etc, you would like this template to have.
- Once complete on the Full Page Text tab, go to the General tab where you can decide if you want it to be a Custom Footer, Email, Footer, Frame, or Header. You can also leave it blank; you do not need to distinguish the Template Type.
- When complete, check the Active box. Don't forget to click Save & Close.
Emailing Templates:
- When working in the Editor, you'll click the Templates icon (see images below).
- A small tab will appear. Select the drop-down for the Select Local Template Group, and you'll see all Classic Templates previously built, by you, Current, and/or previous Admins.
- Simply select the one you want to use/view and continue to edit.
